Purpose of the role:
This role is focused on driving new business acquisition in Malta, strengthening client relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and strategic outreach to negotiations and deal closure, playing a key role in scaling our presence in the region.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and capture new business opportunities within the payment solutions market
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants and partners
Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, product presentation, negotiation, and closing
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Business Development/Account Management teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
Monitor industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging market opportunities
Required Experience:
Proven B2B sales experience within Fintech / Payments / Gateway / PSP companies (minimum 1–2 years)
Solid understanding of payment gateway solutions, digital payments, or e-commerce ecosystems
Established network within high-risk verticals such as forex, gambling, crypto (required)
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to build sustainable, long-term merchant relationships
Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performance team
Fluent English (C1+)
