Purpose of the role:
You will play a key role in leading and developing the Management Accounting function, ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely financial information across multiple business lines and legal entities. This role is critical for maintaining robust cost allocation methodologies, reliable transactional accounting processes, and a high-quality month-end close.
By owning cost allocation, payroll and overhead expense distribution, revenue accruals, and AR/AP processes, you will ensure the integrity of management reporting and support informed decision-making across the business. Close collaboration with FP&A, Business Lines Finance, HR, IT, and Group Closing teams will be essential to align financial data, resolve discrepancies, and continuously improve processes.
In addition, you will lead and support the management accounting team by planning workloads, setting priorities, and driving process enhancements. Your strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to balance accuracy with pragmatism will help the finance function operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment while meeting strict deadlines and supporting the company’s growth.
Key responsibilities:
Ownership of monthly cost allocation process across business lines, products and legal entities
Organization and control of month-end close related to: payroll costs shared and overhead expenses IT, servers, subscriptions and corporate functions
Review, validation and consistency checks of allocated costs to ensure accuracy, transparency and explainability
Maintenance and development of cost allocation rules, drivers and methodologies
Ownership of transactional accounting processes across multiple legal entities and business lines
Organization and control of month-end close related to: revenue accruals and cut-off procedures settlements with clients accounts receivable and payable closing
Review and validation of primary accounting data to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness
Close cooperation with FP&A, Business Lines Finance, HR, IT and Group Closing teams
Leadership of the management accounting team, including workload planning, prioritization and process improvements Identification and resolution of data discrepancies and root-cause analysis
Required Experience:
Higher education in Finance, Accounting or related field
5+ years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting or similar roles
Hands-on experience with cost allocation and AR/AP processes in a multi-entity or group environment
Strong understanding of P&L structure and cost behavior, revenue recognition and accounting controls
Practical experience with payroll allocation, shared cost distribution, AR/AP processes and period close
Advanced MS Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, analytical models)
Experience working with accounting / ERP systems (1C, Xero or similar)
English and Russian (at least Upper-Intermediate, both written and oral)
Ability to balance accuracy with pragmatism in a fast-paced environment
Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Nice to have:
Experience in iGaming, fintech or digital product companies
Experience working in international or geographically distributed groups
Participation in finance automation, system implementation or process optimization initiatives
