Delivery manager – Middle
Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Delivery manager to join a newly established Special Projects Team within the Marketing Development department. We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate complex workflows, and drive the successful delivery of strategic marketing and business projects across the organization.
Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating strategic cross-functional projects within the Special Projects Team, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with business goals. You will help structure processes, align stakeholders, and drive execution across multiple departments, contributing to the successful launch and scaling of high-impact business and marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
Gather, clarify, and structure requirements from Marketing business stakeholders
Translate business requests into clear tasks for Development, QA, and Design teams. Collaborate with the team on task decomposition
Manage the team's backlog and roadmap
Plan team activities within two-week sprint cycles. Monitor timelines, statuses, risks, dependencies, and scope changes
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders
Facilitate status meetings and document agreements and decisions
Define acceptance criteria for tasks and deliverables
Participate partially in business acceptance and validation of delivered results
Support the establishment and improvement of processes within a newly formed team
Ensure delivery transparency for both business stakeholders and the team
Required Experience:
2+ years of Project Management experience
English proficiency at B2 level or higher, including written communication, meetings, documentation, and negotiations
Russian proficiency at B2 level or higher
Experience working in IT and/or web development environments
Proven experience in gathering, clarifying, and formalizing requirements
Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and manage their expectations
Experience decomposing tasks in collaboration with Developers, QA Engineers, and Designers
Experience managing backlogs and roadmaps
Experience planning team activities and overseeing delivery execution
Ability to define clear acceptance criteria. General understanding of web development concepts, including frontend, backend, APIs, CMS platforms, domains, and hosting
Experience working with distributed or remote teams
Hands-on experience with the following tools: Jira Confluence Slack Google Docs Figma Miro
Nice to have:
Experience launching projects from scratch
Experience in marketing, partnership, affiliate, or digital projects
Experience building and improving processes within a newly established team
Experience working with two-week sprint cycles
Understanding of hybrid project management approaches without strict adherence to Scrum or Kanban frameworks
Ability to write user stories and use cases
Experience collaborating with SEO, Content, Analytics, CRM, and BI teams
Experience using AI-powered tools in project management activities
Working knowledge of Figma, including reviewing designs, commenting, and validating implementation against mockups
