Payment Operations Specialist – Middle
Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Payment Operations Specialist to join our Finance Team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to oversee day-to-day payment operations, ensure transaction accuracy and security, drive process automation, and help maintain a resilient and efficient payment infrastructure.
Purpose of the role:
You will manage day-to-day payment operations, ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient transaction processing across our financial infrastructure. Your work will support operational resilience, strengthen payment security, improve process automation, and help maintain reliable payment services across the business.
Key responsibilities:
Execute financial transactions across multiple payment channels in accordance with internal security protocols and operational procedures
Perform daily reconciliation of payment accounts, financial platforms, and ERP records, including transaction history and balance verification
Monitor liquidity across payment accounts and financial platforms, initiate internal transfers, conversions, and funding requests when required
Configure, test, and maintain payment accounts, financial platforms, and payment providers
Collaborate with financial partners and payment service providers to resolve operational issues and manage account limits
Support automation initiatives for payment processes and integrations between financial platforms and ERP/accounting systems
Conduct initial compliance checks in accordance with internal risk management procedures
Maintain internal documentation and operational procedures (Confluence)
Respond promptly to operational incidents and ensure strict adherence to internal security standards
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in finance, treasury, payment operations, or financial control
Experience working with payment platforms, financial service providers, or treasury operations is a strong advantage
Understanding of payment processing workflows and financial operations
Experience working with 1C or similar ERP/accounting systems
Knowledge of AML/KYC principles and financial compliance processes
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with operational procedures
English proficiency at B1 level or higher
Fluency in Russian (spoken and written)
