SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a QA Engineer (ERP & Financial Systems).
We are looking for an experienced QA professional who combines strong analytical thinking with a solid understanding of complex business domains. As our products are closely related to ERP, accounting, and financial processes, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, improving QA practices, and supporting reliable software releases.
Although this role is focused primarily on manual testing, our team actively develops test automation using Vanessa Automation. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn new technologies, contribute to automation initiatives, and continuously improve both product quality and QA processes.
Key responsibilities:
Own the quality assurance process for assigned features throughout the development lifecycle
Design, execute comprehensive manual test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
Analyze business requirements and identify missing, ambiguous, or high-risk scenarios before implementation
Identify, investigate, document, and verify software defects while supporting root cause analysis
Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery
Coordinate release readiness from the QA perspective, including testing status, risk assessment
Maintain and continuously improve test documentation and QA knowledge base
Contribute to improving QA processes, testing approaches, and automation initiatives within the team.
Required Experience:
2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Manual QA Engineer
Experience testing ERP, accounting, financial, or other enterprise business applications
Good understanding of accounting concepts, financial terminology, and business processes
Strong analytical thinking and technical mindset
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and transform them into effective testing scenarios
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of testing activities
English level: Intermediate or higher
Russian level: Close to native
Nice to have:
Experience with 1C-based solutions
Experience with Jira, TestRail, Vanessa Automation, Visual Studio Code, Git, and Allure
Interest in test automation and willingness to develop automation skills
Experience introducing new QA tools or improving QA processes
Curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and willingness to explore new QA tools and technologies
