Payroll Specialist
Overview:
SOFTSWISS is hiring an experienced Payroll Specialist responsible for the comprehensive administration of payroll and HR processes, as well as the accurate and timely calculation of salaries.
Purpose of the Role:
You’ll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by maintaining HR and payroll data, calculating remuneration, and managing statutory settlements and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and supervise the accuracy of HR and payroll data used for salary calculations.
Prepare payroll lists and calculate remuneration for employees and contractors, including allowances, benefits, and deductions.
Administer Employee Capital Plans (PPK), including calculating contributions and preparing settlements.
Prepare and electronically submit settlement documents, declarations, and reports to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), Tax Office, PFRON, and other institutions.
Respond to employees’ questions and complaints regarding calculated remuneration, and issue employment and employment relationship certificates at employees’ requests.
Monitor changes in labour law, social insurance regulations, and personal income tax regulations, and apply them in practice.
Required Experience:
At least 10 years of professional experience in HR and payroll.
Very good knowledge of labour law, social insurance regulations, personal income tax, and settlement procedures with ZUS, the Tax Office, and PFRON.
Practical experience in calculating remuneration for employees and contractors.
Good command of English, enabling fluent communication in a professional environment and work with documentation.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Accuracy, diligence, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to organise work independently and meet deadlines, strong communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
